What a willing and generous community! I am always amazed by by the response in this village when a call for help goes out.
You donated just over R90,000 to the Fire Unit which gets us significantly more more equipment than we asked for, and we are now planning on adding a few more 5000l HIPPO tanks on our defensive line.
To those I was unable to thank by personal note (I don’t have the contact details of all donors), a very big THANK YOU. Your donation to the SMCFU is much appreciated.

Scarborough Community Church
One of the great truths in the Bible is that it is possible in the sight of God, to "murder" someone, not only by our actions but also by our words. Although our angry thoughts and insulting words may never lead to the ultimate act of murder, yet they may be tantamount to murder in God's sight. I shall endeavour to explain these very challenging words of Jesus from His famous Sermon on the Mount this coming Sunday at 9:00am in the Scarborough Community Centre. It would be terrific to have you join us. There will be a special programme for our children.
Tomorrow night (Fri 24 Nov) at 6:30pm we will continue with the story of the Book of Ester. It starts with a light supper. Everyone is welcome.
