Finding My Voice Retreat,  4-5 Nov

This 2 day retreat in Noordhoek is an opportunity to explore your voice in speaking, sounding and singing. Many of us have blocks in our throats…. we stop ourselves from speaking our truth and expressing ourselves authentically. Through working with Mindfulness we will access our bodies and learn to listen and connect with our voices.

Led by Annika Nicol –  a Clinical Psychologist and musician also trained as a Mindfulness Psychotherapist in the UK.

Services needed

Sign writing – We have a small outdoor sign that has weathered and needs to be redone. It is PVA on wood. Can anyone help us with this?

15 brightly coloured hula hoops – were stolen from our property this morning between 8:30 and 12:00. As they were of no resale value I am assuming they were taken by children in the village. They are part of the equipment for my puppy classes and I would like them back. If anyone's kids came home with them, please see that they are returned.

Scarborough Community Church

As you steadily make your way through Jesus' fantastic "Sermon on the mount," you realize how demanding and challenging it is to live up to his high standards and what a responsibility we have in the world in which we live. This coming Sunday at 9:00am we will be looking at the subject of "Peacemakers|" and I will try and explain it. Everybody is welcome and the children will be catered for in the Community Hall.
Friday night Bible study will continue as usual at 6:30pm, but please note, will be in recess on Friday the 3rd, 10th and the 17th of November. We look forward to seeing you.

I am searching for a small house with a little garden, for myself and my two young children. We are visiting family in Scarborough and would ideally like to come early December until early Feb, though our dates are somewhat flexible right now. My budget is R13,000 per month.
We are a nomadic family and have spent the bulk of the last five years in other people’s spaces, so I am well used to taking care of them.
I’m planning on booking our place within the next two weeks. Currently I am in Istanbul and then Madrid, so email or Skype is best for me.

Storage space

Sadly we are leaving after 4 totally blissful years on Egret Street.  We are looking for a 3- 6 month temporary storage space in someone's garage/ office/ home for some clothing rails, a tent and other equipment – which we'll ship to Europe in the New Year. Happy to pay rent of course  – its only a small space we need:  approx. quarter of a garage even less. If you can help us, please contact
