Zensa Lodge: Application for consolidation and rezoning

This application has been withdrawn by the applicant and confirmation of such has been received from The City.

Re: Jollie Skollie & Camel Rock

I find it difficult to comprehend that some of the Jollie Skollie patrons believe that their right to go out on a Friday and Saturday night and bawl and shout – which they do, that is why it is closed – over-rides the privacy rights of the residents who live adjacent to the Camel Rock, the mind boggles, they must be smoking MY socks.
John Crebbin

I would like to thank the Camel Rock for all their local initiatives that support so many people in their stride, such as the concerts, the local art exhibitions, the fish braais and the potjies, and the clothes exchange box, for selling local produce at the Mickey Mouse Trap and also providing worldly basics and cheap food for the workers in the village from there etc etc etc. The Scarborough Fair is such a great idea and so in tune with the village, thanks. I feel blessed to have such social activity so close to home. The owners and the employees are always welcoming and generous with people of any pocket size and importantly so, it's the most kid loving place around. I have seen the owners trying to make it as sound proof as possible but obviously we still do need to keep calm outside when it's late, please. I do hope that we can find a way to keep the vibe going stronger albeit not louder.
